30 years of stability and vision for Clarke-Hook
Ed applies his 30 years of commercial and industrial Real Estate business experience to the management of all daily operations at Clarke-Hook. He leverages his prior direct experience on Wall Street, a well-respected commercial brokers license, and an uncanny ability to identify market opportunities. For a number of years, Ed taught Real Estate, Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies to Washington, D.C. area college students.
Ed is well connected in the community as a member of the Loudoun CEO Cabinet; as Chairman of Marketing and Business Retention, Executive Committee Member, and Commissioner for the Loudoun County Economic Development Commission; and through board responsibilities with the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, University Center Owners Association, Catholic Business Network of Northern Virginia and Committee for Dulles. He serves on the Advisory Council for George Washington University, Virginia Science & Technology Campus, and is the Chair of the Board of Visitors at Marymount University. Ed is also a long-standing member with the NAIOP National Forum - Family Owned Real Estate Businesses.
Ed served on the faculty of University of Maryland, University College for 15 years and is a frequent lecturer at Marymount University's Graduate School of Business.
Applying his longtime activities of running and surfing toward fundraising opportunities, Ed founded the PVI Runfest 5K, which has been held for the past 10 years at the high school attended by all four of his children - Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia. The event has raised significant funds, some of which helped to mainstream special needs students through high school.
Ed received his BA from Villanova University and his MBA in Marketing from Fordham University Graduate School of Business in New York City.
